Andrew Ziebell
Judge FCI, Australia
When the idea of the first European club show for ACD was born, we knew one thing for sure... We knew that we wanted not only a quality judge, but also someone who had experience with this breed. It is a great honor for us to introduce you to Mr. Andrew Ziebell, a judge and breeder of Australian Cattle Dogs from their country of origin - Australia.
We asked the judge if he could tell you a few words about himself:
"I have been involved in dog pedigree work since birth, growing up in a family deeply connected to purebred dogs. My parents owned a pedigree-registered Australian Terrier, and upon her passing, they gifted me my own — sparking a lifelong passion for pedigrees and the preservation of breed excellence.
When I moved out of the family home, I continued this tradition by purchasing my own pedigree-registered dog. This marked the beginning of my journey with Australian Cattle Dogs. In 1992, I purchased my first pedigree-registered Australian Cattle Dog from Les and Iris Heale, renowned breeders under the "GlenIris" prefix. With their encouragement, I began showing dogs and obtained my own breeding prefix.
Since 1992, I have bred and exhibited Australian Cattle Dogs under the "Jayblue" prefix. Over the years, I have proudly bred numerous Australian Champions and exported dogs to Italy and Finland, where their offspring have gone on to produce multiple World Winners.

In addition to breeding and showing, I am an FCI-licensed judge for Groups 1, 3, and parts of Group 5. My judging career has taken me across Australia, where I have officiated at Working Dog specialty shows, as well as internationally, and judging FCI shows in New Zealand.
My journey reflects a lifelong dedication to the preservation, promotion, and excellence of Australian Cattle Dogs, and a commitment to the global pedigree community. Alongside my work with ACDs, I also show and breed Australian Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dogs under the "Kerimarlo" prefix. I have owned a Swedish Vallhund and regularly assist close friends in showing their Australian Kelpies, Border Collies, and Shetland Sheepdogs.
I am currently the President of the Original Australian Breeds club of QLD, and an active member of several other Dog Clubs."
Moc děkujeme a těšíme se všechny posudky a osobní setkání!
